The prison is built around one tower-style cell block. The first three levels are Minimum Security (MIN) with the common area and the catwalks open, with inmate access to all three levels so that all minimum security inmates can get to the common area. Minimum Security cells are 8'x10' and hold two inmates

  • Levels 4-6 are Medium Security (MED), with the same size cells. The catwalks are closed in with chainlink fence, and there is no inmate access between levels.
  • Levels 6-9 are Maximum Security (MAX). The MAX catwalks are closed in by prison bars, and there is no inmate access between levels.
  • Levels 10-12 are Supermax (SMAX). The SMAX catwalks are enclosed by thick, specially polarized glass that’s opaque to the naked eye and can only be seen through by the matching polarized lenses of the security cameras pointed at them.
  • Level 13 is the Control Room where the central Panopitcon pillar of security cameras is monitored, and the various computer systems that run the prison are operated from.
